During Production Inspection (DPI)
What is a During Production Check (DUPRO)?
A During Production Check is an on-site Product Inspection performed when 20-30% of your production is completed and packed for shipping. This inspection of randomly selected units from all completed batches of your production informs you whether or not your factory is continuing to follow client’s original specifications and/or reference samples. It can uncover problems at an early production stage, determine the actual workmanship level against the required standards, and allow more time for reworking and correction. It also helps you supervise whether the production process is on schedule.
What do we do at During Production Inspection (DPI)?
when 20-30% of your production is completed, we will perform an inspection on semi-finished and finished products per client specifications and/or reference samples, including visual inspection, function inspection and related physical inspection.
For DPI, what we mainly inspect includes, but not limited to the following aspects:
•The production status during the manufacturing process
•The semi-finished and finished products at random
•The production lines & capability
•The package details and packing material
•Make recommendations
